Gonna have to dust off and boot up the Gamecube just to try this one out.

I’m going to post a picture of my multicolored tower in a couple of days. Be on the lookout

Games to watch out for:

Coming in the second quarter of 2011 from Kalypso media, this dungeon keeper reboot looks very promising. For those of you who have cared to read all of my posts, you may have seen my review for Evil Genius and know that I loved the game. Well Dungeons looks like a medieval mix between Overlord and Evil Genius. Anyone else slightly aroused by the possibilities??

Every gamer needs some gaming music.

I got you covered.

(also, it’s a commonly known fact that Deadmau5 loves Minecraft. Just sayin’ :D)

Samurai Jack (click to watch episode 1)

So, this isn’t usually my cup of tea, and I know it has nothing to do with video games. However, this show is made by Gods and therefore should be watched by everyone.

I used to watch Samurai Jack every Saturday morning with a bowl of Captin’ Crunch. Those were the days.

Retro Game of The Week: Donkey Kong 64 1/10

Watch it now. Thank me later.

This game was one of the hardest adventure games I played as a kid, and after replaying it I can attest to the fact that it has aged like my really hot next door neighbor: gracefully.

Trine gameplay, check out my review below.

Those of us on my multiplayer server discovered something truly amazing today in Minecraft. We found a naturally, randomly generated cave, the likes of which we have never seen before. it is so massive and open that we decided we are going to make something of a dwarven city inside

F**king cool! Amirite?

So, I’ve been playing a few games over this winter break: Bioshock 2, Super Meat Boy, SO MUCH MINECRAFT, but the game that has surprisingly impressed me more than all the rest is Trine.
For those of you who haven’t heard about this game, your life sucks, and it will continue to suck until you get it. I love everything about this game from the breathtaking visual style to the innovative gameplay style of switching between three characters seamlessly.
You can play as a wizard, theif, or warrior. Each correspond with the numbers 1, 2, and 3. Switching between them as you play is (as stated above) completely seamless. Frozenbyte, the creators of Trine, really could’ve screwed this game up by making switching characters a jerky time-wasting ability. Lucky for us, they did a bang up job.
The story is formed by a classic story telling narrator; like many awesome fantasy tales. However, the entirety of the narrator’s storytelling is done during loading screens. BRILLIANT! I say! what better way to keep players engaged during boring loading screens? (besides tits, if someone somehow combined tits and storytelling during loading screens then no matter how bad the game actually was, it would win game of the millenium)
Nothing’s perfect right? While Trine comes pretty close, it still has the occasional bug/glitch that yanks the player right out of the gorgeous mythical world and plants him in the reality of a worn office chair and a bag of Cheetos.
The Verdict: If you havent figured out how much i like this game after reading through this review then I assume you are also too dumb to remember to breathe, so BREATHE YOU FOOL. 5 out of 5. Buy it and love it.
